Cardborigami’s shelters are great to stockpile as a quick-to-deploy, no-assembly-required temporary shelter product in the event of an emergency.

Their slim, compacted profile makes it easy to store a few in the back of a vehicle for family use, or many in a standard storage shed for connected neighbors readying their building or block for emergencies.

Post-Earthquake Case

After a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck central Mexico in September 2017, we worked with a diverse group of Southern California volunteers organizing supply caravans to send our shelters to affected rural areas, as part of their overland deliveries of immediate aid.

POST-FIRE CASE

The Thomas Fire in CA burned approximately 440 miles and destroyed over 750 homes in December 2017. We donated a truckload of shelters to local nonprofit HELP of Ojai, which serves the most vulnerable people near the origin of the blaze in Ventura County.
